Astrebla* Publishing, the imprint of author Mark Kleinschmidt, began its journey in 1997 with the release of his collection of bush verse.

Westering - bush verse of Western Queensland went on to become an award-winning best seller, taking out the prestigious Golden Gumleaf Bush Laureate, Book of the Year award in 1998, and selling over 10,000 copies.

Astrebla Publishing also released The Ringer's Note, an audio album of selected poems from Westering. It sold over 6,000 units.

Astrebla Publishing is committed to supporting charities that improve people's lives. Our giving program sees 10% of the profits from our books go to specified causes. When you buy one of our books, you are not only supporting an independent author, but contributing to a worthy cause.
